Well then, let's begin.
Yes, well, continuing from last time, we have Shun-san with us.
Please go ahead.
Yes, hello.
Hello.
I hung out with Miku's mom the other day. Oh,
Oh really.
Wow.
Well, since she's Miku's mom, she's about the same age as my own mom, around 60 years old, but
she's so kind and cute and energetic, and I thought.
I thought she was wonderful. Yeah yeah
はい。Yes.
So, Shun, what kind of 60-year-old, what kind of 60th birthday do you want to have?
I wonder.
It's difficult, isn't it.
うん。Yeah.
I can't really imagine it at all.
But I might not change.
Not much.
うん。Yeah.
Just getting older.
Just aging somehow.
But my face will age though.
うん。Yeah.
I might not change.
Sixty-year-olds nowadays are quite young, aren't they.
若い。Young.
ね。Right.
うん。Yeah.
Sixty-year-olds now are younger than sixty-year-olds thirty years ago, so when we are sixty, probably even more
I think we'll be younger, so probably at sixty I'll still be working hard, going to the gym,
ね、バックパックかもしれないと思うし、60歳、変わるか、right, I might even be backpacking, at 60, will it change,
うん、そうそうそう、だからあまり変わらないと思うけどね、うん、じゃ変わらないままでいたいってこと、60歳になっても今と変わらない、yeah, right right right, so I don't think I'll change much, yeah, so you want to stay the same, even at 60 the same as now,
うん、Yeah,
Staying the same as now,
But who knows, it's still about 30 years later, about 20 years, around 5,
So you never know what will happen, right, that's true, but well, as I feel now, in the same kind of way
生活がlife
I hope I can live like that, yeah, right, that's right, well, being healthy without illness,
Yes yes yes yes, that's the best, yeah, that's right, yeah, and so I want to become a 60-year-old who hangs out with young people, like kids about my own children's age,
遊んでるような60歳になりたい、hanging out like that at 60,
Well, I don't know.
I don't know, like, would our values match with young people
I don't know, but I saw in a video, like people in their early twenties talking
We're talking and hanging out, but yeah, it's fun, right? Fun, fun, but
But like, before
When I went to Thailand, I went to a water park to play
Yeah, and at that time I went to the water park with a group of 18-year-old British and Australian people
Yeah, like they were doing sumo-like wrestling and stuff, like kids, kid-like, like a student ride
It's like an elementary school ride, well, even if it's an elementary school ride, but
Men are all elementary schoolers forever, oh I see, well it was that kind of ride, but it was super fun, but
Still, the body, the stamina of an 18-year-old
違う。あ、Is different. Oh,
It's different.
It's different, different, I just got tired already.
So at sixty, like wrestling with eighteen-year-olds, physically it's difficult
I think, you know.
Yeah, even if I keep working out from now, eighteen-year-olds would be tough.
Probably tough, but well, with this lifestyle, I'll probably be way healthier and stronger than other sixty-year-olds.
Yeah yeah, when I turn sixty, I think.
うん。Yeah.
Oh, I see, I see.
Yeah yeah, well, a healthy sixty-year-old is good.
Yeah, that's right.
Yeah, right.
We did a little hike with Mick's mom and she wasn't even out of breath at all.
Oh, really. Cool
いい。Nice.
Yeah yeah yeah.
Like, she does pilates and stuff, she takes care of her body so she's really healthy. Oh,
I thought, I want to be a sixty-year-old like this.
She's healthy.
Yeah yeah yeah.
But, to become a healthy sixty-year-old, really, from now, exercise is important, right.
Yeah, exercise and...
But diet is important too.
Diet, exercise, diet, exercise, sleep, sleep, right.
Yeah, and relationships.
Well, yeah.
Yeah yeah yeah, relationships are important too.
That's right.
Yeah, right, like stress, you know, not having it.
Stress, yeah.
Yeah yeah yeah, it's better to do that.
That's right.
How do you watch your diet?
To become a healthy sixty-year-old.
Yeah, I don't really watch it much.
Well, yeah.
No, it's hard.
I do watch it, but like when my wife
When she cooks, she always makes vegetables, meat, really healthy food, so that's good, but
Well, when I go backpacking, I drink every day and stay up late
And I wake up early in the morning, so
Since it's become a habit, I'm already sleep-deprived and just buying something random at food stalls to eat, yeah,
so well, sometimes it's really bad though.
Ah, at that time, doesn't your body feel bad?
Even eating that kind of bad stuff, but my relationships are really good and I have really no stress so.
I didn't really get sick. Ah,
That's good.
Like, yeah, there are people who are fine no matter what they eat and people who aren't, right.
Well that's probably, there are different body types, I think there's body constitution.
Yeah yeah.
そう。Right.
Huh.
More than that, in my case, relationships and stress probably affect my health more.
Yeah yeah. Ah,
So really, stress, relationships, and exercise are probably
the most important for me, and then next is food, um, food and sleep.
Yeah yeah. Ah,
I see.
Huh, for me, uh, sleep and food and, well, exercise I guess.
And, well, um, well they're all important though, since they're connected.
Of course, of course, of course, right.
うん。Yeah.
Also, I, yeah, I changed where I live.
Oh, I heard, I heard.
Right right right, I moved from the city to a bit more in the countryside, and I'm living somewhere I can walk to the sea every day.
That's so nice.
Yeah, so then really, stress, or rather than stress, what is it, there's time every day when I feel happy.
Yeah, I think that was really good.
Wow, nice, the sea is nice.
Right, today too I rode my bike for about an hour in the morning, along the sea, to like a swimming beach place. Ah,
Right, in summer you can totally swim.
You can swim.
You can do fireworks too, and go swimming every day.
Right, yeah.
そう。Right.
And I go often too. Ah,
本当?Really?
うん。Yeah.
Eh, you go swimming.
うん。あ、Yeah. Ah,
Where is it?
Is it close from Nagoya?
From Nagoya, well by car, since I have a car.
About an hour by car.
Yeah yeah yeah. Ah,
There's a beach with a ton of Brazilians.
Huh.
うん。Yeah.
There.
I'm swimming there all the time.
うん。Yeah.
I often go swimming in the sea or rivers and stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
Doing that, like stress management, it's good to have a place to let off stress.
Yeah, that's important.
Yeah, yeah.
Also, how are you handling relationships?
Yeah, for relationships I just stay with people I really love.
Yeah, yeah.
Right, really.
And my relationship with my family is good too.
うん。Yeah.
Yeah, I have really close, trustworthy friends too.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, like friends I don't even have to talk about work with. Ah,
I get it.
Yeah, yeah, I have plenty of them.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, my relationship with my wife is good too.
Yeah, yeah, there's nothing really to complain about right now.
There's nowhere to complain.
Yeah, nice, nice.
Yeah, I value my relationships.
Yeah, consciously.
Yeah, I really think so too, yeah, that's important.
Yeah, relationships are important, definitely.
Yeah, yeah, it probably differs from person to person, but I'm the type who doesn't meet people that often.
Yeah, so meeting one or two people a week is already enough, that makes me happy.
Right, yeah yeah, so at about that pace, yeah, I'm able to meet friends and people.
Yeah, that's good, that's a good feeling.
Yeah, like, well, relationships are really just with truly important people, important friends and such.
Um, you know, there are important people like childhood friends from back home, family, my wife, my wife's family.
I cherish those important relationships, plus new people I meet, new encounters.
I also value those, so I go to places where I can meet new people on my own, go to a bar,
誰かに話しかけて、一緒に飲もうって言って、で、そこからまあそのバーだけの関係にtalk to someone, say let's drink together, and from there, well, it'll mostly just stay a bar-only relationship,
まあほとんどなると思うけど、まあ時々そこからまた遊ぼうよって言って、またね、遊んで、すごく仲が良くなって、またすごい深い関係の友達ができるbut sometimes from there we'll say let's hang out again, and then hang out again, become really close, and become really deep friends.
So if I could have lots of people with really deep relationships,
人がたくさんいたらif there were lots of people like that,
I think that would be great,
so I'm mindful of that.
That's right.
Yeah, I'm mindful of that too.
Well, if I do that, then I think I can probably become a healthy, yeah yeah yeah, sixty-year-old grandpa or grandma.
Yeah, that's right.
Yeah, that's my goal.
That's right, a healthy grandpa, a healthy grandma.
Even at sixty, yeah, still young, right.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, Shun, your mom still climbs mountains a lot, right?
Yeah, she even climbs real cliffs, right?
That's amazing.
I really wonder if I can become close with Shun's mom too.
We're getting along, like I even got close with Miku's mom, you know.
We're close, we're already friends.
Yeah, I can get along with Shun's mom too, I can.
That's right.
Hahaha.
Today I just normally climbed a cliff, like a cliff-like place.
Ah, yeah yeah, the place with chains and stuff, right.
Yeah yeah. Cool
いい。Nice.
I climbed for like thirteen hours.
Amazing, amazing. Cool
いい。Nice.
I want to become an adult like that.
Yeah yeah yeah.
Then let's work hard aiming for that.
はい。Yes.
Yes, so, ah, thank you for today as well.
Yes, thank you.
Yes, see you again.
Bye-bye.
