実じつは僕ぼくはあのバンドをやってました。Actually, I used to be in a band.

あの大学生だいがくせいの時とき、まあまあ実じつは中学生ちゅうがくせいの時ときからですね。When I was in university, well actually since middle school.

中学生ちゅうがくせいの時とき。When I was in middle school.

そして大学生だいがくせい、あ違ちがう、中学生ちゅうがくせい、高校生こうこうせい、大学生だいがくせい。And then university, no wait, middle school, high school, university.

そして大学だいがく卒業そつぎょうしてから。And after graduating from university.

うん。Yeah.

まあえっとねでもね結構けっこうずっとやってた。Well, um, but I did it pretty much continuously.

最近さいきんやってない。I haven't done it recently.

最近さいきんやってないけど子供こどもが生うまれるまでバンドはやってました。I haven't done it recently, but I was in a band until my child was born.

ね。Right.

ライブをやったりいろいろしましたね。We played live shows and did all sorts of things.

だからたくさんの音楽おんがくを聴きいているというわけで音楽おんがくシリーズ楽たのしいですね。So that's why I've listened to a lot of music, and the music series is fun.

実じつは僕ぼくがあの高校生こうこうせいの時とき、もう本当ほんとうに多分たぶん一番いちばん好すきだったのはザ・クラッシュかな。Actually, when I was in high school, probably my absolute favorite was The Clash.

その辺へんのバンド、まあイギリスのパンクバンドですね。those bands around there, well, British punk bands.

僕ぼくは大好だいすきだった。I loved them.

もちろんアメリカのあのラモーンズとかね、そういうバンドも好すきだったけど、Of course I also liked American bands like the Ramones,

イギリスのザ・クラッシュ、ザ・ジャム、あとバズコックスとかね。but British ones like The Clash, The Jam, and Buzzcocks.

バズコックスかっこいいですよね。Buzzcocks are cool, aren't they.

名前なまえはちょっと変へんだけど、あのバズコックスだからね。The name is a bit weird, but, you know, Buzzcocks.

このねこのリズムがね人間にんげんっぽくていいんですよ。This, this rhythm feels human and that's good.

てええまあオアシスとかの先輩せんぱいですよねザストーンローズです。And, well, they're like the predecessors of Oasis, The Stone Roses.

僕ぼくはでもね実じつはまあそのマッドチェスターとかいますよね僕ぼくはハッピーマンデーズが一番いちばん好すきでした。But actually, well, there's Madchester and all that, I liked Happy Mondays the best.

映画えいががあって、それそれもかっこよかったですね。There was a movie, and that was cool too.

それが多分たぶん僕ぼくは大学生だいがくせいの時とき、ね、twenty four hour party people、あれかっこよかったんですよね。That was probably when I was in university, you know, Twenty Four Hour Party People, that was cool.

あの映画えいがはね、はい、見みたことない人ひとはちょっと見みてください。That movie, yes, if you haven't seen it, please give it a watch.

まあでもちょっとやばい映画えいがなんで気きをつけてください。Well, it's kind of an intense movie though, so be careful.

次つぎ、えっとね、次つぎはねちょっと古ふるくなって、僕ぼくはちょっとリストを作つくったんですね。Next, um, next is a bit older, I made a bit of a list.

あのロックンロールとかね、あのドラムから始はじまるロックンロールとかね。That rock and roll, you know, the rock and roll that starts with drums.

他ほかにもいろいろな曲きょくがあります。There are various other songs too.

僕ぼくはね、やっぱりロックっぽいレッド・ツェッペリンも好すきだけど、ちょっとフォークっぽいレッド・ツェッペリンも好すきだし、I like the rock-ish Led Zeppelin, of course, but I also like the slightly folk-ish Led Zeppelin,

あとアルバムはあのAnd as for albums, um

結構けっこうファーストセカンドじゃなくてサードアルバムとか、あともう少すこし後あとの方ほうとか、ちょっとこうなんていうかな、More like the third album rather than the first or second, and also the later ones, kind of, how should I put it,

ちょっとハードロックじゃないゼッペリンも好すきですね。I also like the Zeppelin that's not quite hard rock.

はい、ブラックサバス。Yes, Black Sabbath.

まあまあまあ、ブラックサバスは実じつはでもブラックサバスはあんまり聞きいてない。Well, well, actually I haven't listened to Black Sabbath that much.

僕ぼくはあのいくつかの曲きょくとかアルバムは聞きいてるけど、たくさんのアルバムは聞きいてないですね。I've listened to some songs and albums, but I haven't listened to a lot of albums.

はい、オジー・オズボーンもソロアルバムはあんまり知しりません。Yes, I don't really know Ozzy Osbourne's solo albums either.

はい、まあカッコイイけどね。Yes, well, they're cool though.

かっこいいけど、ブラックサバスは特とくにあのギターかっこいいっすね、シンプルで。They're cool, and Black Sabbath's guitar in particular is cool, simple.

はい。Yes.

そして、まあキングクリムゾンとか、でもね実じつはこういうプログレッシブ・ロックは僕ぼくあんまりあんまり好すきじゃない。And, well, King Crimson and such, but actually I'm not really that into this kind of progressive rock.

まあキングクリムゾンのあのね、なんかあのファーストアルバムとかね、そういうのは好すきですよ。Well, I do like King Crimson's, you know, that first album and such.
