N3を満点で合格したって聞いたんですけど、それは本当ですか?I heard you passed N3 with a perfect score, is that true?
本当です。It's true.
まず簡単に自己紹介をお願いします。First, please briefly introduce yourself.
こんにちは、私はチェウォンと申します。Hello, my name is Chaewon.
高校3年生で2年生の時から日本語の勉強しています。I'm in my third year of high school and I've been studying Japanese since my second year.
チェウォンさん、よろしくお願いします。Nice to meet you, Chaewon.
よろしくお願いします。Nice to meet you too.
日本語の森のアイリです。FASTI'm Airi from Nihongo no Mori. FAST
PASSなら簡単で合格できます。With PASS, you can pass easily.
すごい本当に。N3Wow, really. N3
を満点で合格したとき、180点で合格したときどんな気持ちでしたか?When you passed with a perfect score, with 180 points, how did you feel?
初めて180点を取ったって見たときに本当に驚きました。When I first saw that I got 180 points, I was really surprised.
合格するとは思っていましたが満点を取るとは思っていませんでした。I thought I would pass, but I didn't think I would get a perfect score.
そうですよね。Right, I know.
私もう日本人ですけどあの満点取れるかって言われたら絶対何かしらのミスしそうなのでI'm Japanese myself, but if I was asked if I could get a perfect score, I'd definitely make some kind of mistake, so
本当に取れる気がしないので本当にすごいです。I really don't feel like I could get it, so it's truly amazing.
ありがとうございます。N3Thank you. N3
に合格するまではどのくらいの期間勉強してましたか?How long did you study until you passed N3?
元々はN4か5にする予定だったのでN3はOriginally I was planning on N4 or N5, so for N3 I
3ヶ月、4ヶ月ぐらい勉強しました。studied for about 3 months, 4 months.
すごい3、4ヶ月で満点まで行けたんですね。Wow, you got to a perfect score in just 3 or 4 months.
うん、そのN3を勉強してるその三か月四か月の間は毎日どのくらいの時間勉強してましたか?Yeah, during those three or four months you were studying for N3, how many hours did you study every day?
毎日だいたい三時間、少なくとも毎日二時間、一時間は勉強することにしました。Every day about three hours, at least every day I decided to study for two hours, one hour.
うん。Yeah.
そしたらまあそんなもう十時間とかは勉強するわけではないけど必ず毎日So, well, it's not like studying ten hours or anything, but every day without fail
この時間はやるぞっていう感じで継続してやってたんですね。you kept at it with the feeling of 'I'll do it during this time,' right?
はい、そうです。Yes, that's right.
すごい、三時間とかで行けちゃうもんなんですね。Amazing, so you can make it with three hours or so.
えっと日本語を勉強し始めたきっかけは何ですか?Um, what made you start studying Japanese?
日本語を勉強したきっかけは私はWhat made me study Japanese was, I
今三年生ですから去年ですね、あの二年生の時に学校で日本語の授業がありました。am in my third year now, so last year, when I was in my second year, I had Japanese classes at school.
その授業でひらがなから学んで日本語に興味を持つことになりました。In that class I learned from hiragana and became interested in Japanese.
うん、その授業はなんかこう自分で選択して、あの日本語の授業とか外国語の授業でどれか選ぶみたいな感じ。Yeah, was that class something you chose yourself, like choosing from Japanese classes or foreign language classes?
はい、そうです。Yes, that's right.
なるほど。I see.
で、まあなんか日本ちょっとなんかブームだし勉強してみようかなみたいな感じだったんです。So, well, Japanese is kind of trendy, so you thought you'd try studying it.
なるほど、ありがとうございます、選んでいただいて。I see, thank you for choosing it.
そしたらN3で満点を取るために一番効果があったなと思う勉強方法は何ですか?Then, what study method do you think was most effective in order to get a perfect score on N3?
一番効果があったものは一旦挑戦してみることです。The most effective thing was to just try challenging it for now.
おお。Oh.
なんか具体的なエピソードをぜひお聞かせください。Please tell us a specific episode.
なんか勉強するとしたら本を読みますよね。When you study, you read books, right?
その本にたくさん知らない単語とか文法があると思いますけど、その単語と文法を全部覚えてからThere are probably a lot of unknown words and grammar in those books, but instead of memorizing all those words and grammar first and then
問題を解くことじゃなくて、知らなくても一回二回見て、それから問題に挑戦してみることです。solving problems, even if you don't know them, you look at them once or twice, and then try challenging the problems.
じゃあもう完璧じゃなくてもいいからどんどんあの挑戦してあの演習問題とかを解いていくっていう感じだったんですね。So even if you're not perfect, you just kept challenging and solving practice questions and such, right?
そうです。JLPTThat's right. The JLPT
が文字漢字だったりhas characters and kanji,
語彙文法読解聴解いろいろ分野があると思うんですけど、その中で一番力を入れて勉強したのはどの分野でしたか?vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, various sections, but among them, which section did you focus on the most?
私は単語がね、単語が別の分野を勉強するのにも必須だと思って、文字と語彙I think vocabulary is essential for studying other sections too, so characters and vocabulary
の分野に力を入れて勉強しました。I focused on that section and studied it.
その勉強方法はどんな風に勉強してましたか?How did you study with that study method?
新しい単語とかが出るときに一回見て覚えれる単語と覚えられない単語がありますよね。When new words come up, there are words you can remember after seeing them once and words you can't remember, right?
その覚えられない単語は自分で例を作ってみるとか文章を作って覚えやすくしました。For the words I couldn't remember, I tried making my own examples or sentences to make them easier to remember.
じゃあその単語一つだけじゃなくて、それを使った例文を自分の中で考えてみて、それを使ってみたりとか、So not just the word alone, but thinking of example sentences using it in my head, and using them, or
それで例文として覚えるっていう感じ。and remembering it as an example sentence, like that.
っていう感じだったんですね。That's how it was.
はい、そうです。Yes, that's right.
素晴らしい。Wonderful.
では新しい文法とか単語を覚えるときどんな方法使ってましたか?So what method did you use when memorizing new grammar or vocabulary?
新しい文法とか一旦問題を解きますよね。For new grammar and such, you solve problems first, right?
その問題でどうやって使われているのかを見て、それを間違えても二回三回繰り返してみてそれに慣れるっていうかI looked at how it was used in those questions, and even if I got it wrong, I repeated it two or three times to get used to it, or rather
その方法で勉強しました。I studied with that method.
じゃあ新しいものを新しい文法とか単語をSo for new things, new grammar or vocabulary
繰り返し見て、まあ自分でまた例文を作ったりして正しい使い方ができるように繰り返し見ていったんですね。you looked at them repeatedly, and made example sentences yourself so you could use them correctly, right?
はいそうです。Yes, that's right.
あとはまあJLPT一回受けて終わりじゃなくていまだにこうやって日本語すごいお上手なんですけどAnd you didn't just take the JLPT once and finish, you still speak Japanese so well now, but
あの忘れないために今なんかこれを続けてるよとかっていうのもあったりしますか?is there anything you're continuing to do now so you don't forget it?
日本語を忘れないように日本人の友達を作って友達と一緒に話すとかやってみます。To not forget Japanese, I try making Japanese friends and talking with them.
その日本人の友達ですか?Those Japanese friends?
はい。Yes.
日本人の方とどういうところで知り合ったんですか?Where did you meet those Japanese people?
私はあのバロラントっていうゲームでI, um, in a game called Valorant
最近ゲームとかアプリとかでやっぱ知り合って仲良くなる方多いですよね。Recently a lot of people meet and become close through games or apps, right?
はいそうですね。Yes, that's right.
えその友達とは実際に会ったりとかもしたんですか?Have you actually met those friends in person?
いやまだ会ってから長い時間経ってないからまだ会ったことはありません。No, it hasn't been that long since we met, so I haven't met them yet.
これから実際に会っていろいろ話すときがすごく楽しみ。I'm really looking forward to actually meeting and talking about lots of things from now on.
楽しみですね。You're looking forward to it.
楽しみです。I'm looking forward to it.
でもなんかすごい日本語上手だからあのすぐ会話して仲良くなれそう。But your Japanese is so good, so I think you'll be able to talk and become close right away.
ありがとうございます。Thank you very much.
もうなんかイントネーションとかもめちゃめちゃ上手です。Your intonation and everything is really excellent too.
もうN3どころかN2、N1目指してってもう本当に全然大丈夫だと思います。Not just N3, I think you can totally aim for N2, N1.
ありがとうございます。Thank you very much.
時間があるときにN2、N1も目指して挑戦してみてください。When you have time, please try aiming for N2 and N1.
はいありがとうございます。Yes, thank you very much.
あとはN3の試験受ける前に模擬試験とか問題集とかもう使って勉強してましたか?Also, before taking the N3 exam, did you study using mock exams or workbooks?
はい使いました。Yes, I did.
それは模擬試験とかはどういうふうに活用してましたか?How did you use those mock exams?
模擬試験を一回全部解いてその後に正解か間違えたのかI solved a whole mock exam once, and then checked whether it was correct or wrong
確認して間違えたのはなんで間違えたのか正解の理由はなんでそれになるのか分析。and analyzed why the wrong ones were wrong and why the correct answer is that.
しました。I did that.
やっぱり間違えた問題を間違えたで終わらせるんじゃなくて、そこからAs expected, instead of just leaving wrong questions as wrong, from there
分析して間違いがなんで違うのかということを確認するのがanalyzing and confirming why the mistake is wrong is
やっぱすごい大事なんですね。really very important, isn't it.
じゃあ、試験本番ですね。So, about the actual exam.
試験当日の時にOn the day of the exam
読解も多分難しいし長くなってくると思うんですけど、その読解の長い文章を時間内に解くために何か工夫したことはありますか?reading is probably difficult and gets long, but did you do anything to solve those long reading passages within the time?
問題めっちゃ長いと思いますけど、それその長い文章の中でキーワードがありますよね。The questions are really long, but within those long passages there are keywords, right?
キーワード、そのキーワードを探して文章を早く理解することに集中しました。I focused on finding those keywords, those keywords, to understand the passage quickly.
うん。Yeah.
そのキーワードはどういうふうにピックアップしてたんですか?How did you go about picking out those keywords?
文章の中で繰り返していることとかなんていうかこういうのがあります。Things like what's repeated in the passage, or how should I put it, things like this.
ああ、メカニカルっぽい子あるやつ。Ah, that mechanical-looking one.
それに集中しました。I focused on that.
しました。I did.
あー、じゃあ繰り返してるワード、カギカッコになってるちょっと大事そうなワードとかをAh, so repeated words, words in quotation marks that seem important,
なんか線引いたりとかなんかこう自分の中でピックアップしてそれをしっかり見るっていう感じなんですね。You kind of underlined them or picked them out in your own way and made sure to look at them closely, is that it?
はい。Yes.
はい。Yes.
あとは JLPT聴解もあると思うんですけど聴解で聞き取れない言葉があったときはどうしてましたか?Also, I think there's listening comprehension in the JLPT, but what did you do when there were words you couldn't catch in the listening section?
聴解で聞き取れない言葉があってもその後の言葉に集中することにしました。Even if there were words I couldn't catch in the listening section, I decided to focus on the words that came after.
正解へのヒントがまた出る可能性があるかもしれないからです。Because there might be another hint toward the correct answer coming up.
なるほど。I see.
聴解で一瞬でこう流れてっちゃってもその後の言葉をしっかり聞いてなるほど。Even if it just flows by in an instant in the listening section, you listened carefully to the words that came after, I see.
じゃあSo then,
試験の中で時間配分で気をつけていたことは何かありますか?During the exam, was there anything you paid attention to regarding time allocation?
時間配分は気にせずに続けていきました。I just kept going without worrying about time allocation.
でも分からない問題は長い時間を使わずに別の問題に行きました。But for questions I didn't understand, I didn't spend a long time and moved on to another question.
そしたら読解とかThen for reading comprehension and such,
皆さん時間が足りなくなってなんかどうしようみたいになってる方多いんですけど、Many people run out of time and end up like, what should I do, but
じゃそこもあんまり気にせず分からないところは飛ばしてあの次に行くっていう感じだったんですね。So you didn't really worry about that either, and just skipped what you didn't understand and moved on to the next, right?
はい。Yes.
おおすごい読解であんまり時間かからなかったですか?Oh wow, did reading comprehension not take you much time?
はい。Yes.
時間が余って二回ぐらい読みました。I had time left over and read it about twice.
わあすごい。Wow, amazing.
でもなかなかあの時間が余って二回読むって聞いたことないんですけど、すごいですね。But I hardly ever hear of someone having time left over to read it twice, that's amazing.
ね、まああの分からなかったところは飛ばすことが大事ですね。Well, skipping what you didn't understand is important.
そこに時間をかけちゃうと次ができなくなっちゃって。If you spend time on that, you won't be able to do the next ones.
そうです。That's right.
あと今JLPTまで残り一ヶ月ぐらいしか残ってないんですけど、うん試験一ヶ月前はどういう勉強をしてましたか。Also, there's only about a month left until the JLPT now, but what kind of studying were you doing one month before the exam?
一ヶ月前にはもう一回は絶対One month before, I definitely solved them at least once more,
解いたと思いますけど、その解いた問題も文章また解釈するとか文法また見るとかにしました。And for the questions I solved, I interpreted the passages again and reviewed the grammar and so on.
そしてJLPTのサイトありますよね。And there's the JLPT website, right.
そのサイトにある問題を解きました。I solved the questions on that website.
うん。Mm-hm.
あとは一ヶ月前でもし模擬試験受けたりとかそういうこと。Also, even one month before, did you take mock exams or things like that?
そういうこともしたりしてますとか、あのサイトにある問題をもう一度検討して、うん、なるほど。Did you do things like that, or review the questions on that site again, mm, I see.
じゃあその一ヶ月前は無理やり新しい言葉をこうどんどん入れていくんじゃなくて、今まで勉強したものを振り返って復習してSo in that last month, instead of forcefully cramming in new words, you looked back over what you'd studied so far and reviewed it
逃さないようにしていたんですね。So you made sure not to miss anything.
そうです。N3That's right. N3
で満点を取りたいっていう方が多分いっぱいいると思うんですけどI think there are probably a lot of people who want to get a perfect score on N3,
、N3で満点を目指す人に自分だったらこんな勉強方法おすすめしたいなっていうのはあったりしますか?Is there a study method you would recommend to people aiming for a perfect score on N3?
なんか移動するとか休憩するときにいつでも見れるようにSo that you can look at it anytime when you're on the move or on a break,
知らない単語とか文法をノートにメモしていつでも見れるようにすることです。It's to jot down unknown words and grammar in a notebook so you can look at them anytime.
そのメモしたノートはいつも持ち歩いてどこでも確認してたんですか?Did you always carry that notebook with you and check it anywhere?
はい、そうです。Yes, that's right.
え、そのメモするのは文法も単語も?Eh, did you write down both grammar and vocabulary in those notes?
基本的には単語帳みたいな感じにしてたんですか?Did you basically make it like a vocabulary notebook?
単語よりは文法の方をメモしていました。I was taking notes more on grammar than on vocabulary.
じゃあ自分So for yourself
はあの売られてる単語帳とかっていうよりかは自分の苦手な文法をまとめてノートに書いてそれを持ち歩くって感じだったんですね。rather than using a sold vocabulary book or something like that, you compiled your weak grammar points in a notebook and carried it around with you.
そうです。That's right.
隙間時間の活用方法が大事ですね。Making good use of spare time is important.
最後にこれからN3の合格を目指す方にメッセージやアドバイスをお願いします。Finally, please give a message or advice to those aiming to pass N3.
勉強してたらいつか疲れる時が絶対来ると思いますけど。If you study, I think there will definitely come a time when you get tired.
でも諦めずに自分を信じて勉強し続けるときっと克服できると思います。But if you don't give up and keep studying believing in yourself, I'm sure you can overcome it.
素晴らしい。Wonderful.
ありがとうございました。Thank you very much.
あと何か話しておきたいこととか、もうこれは絶対なんか言っておきたいなみたいなこととかあったりしますか?Is there anything else you'd like to talk about, or something you absolutely want to say?
いろんな本を少しずつやるやるのじゃなくて、1個の本を絶対これはやっていくそんな感じで勉強したらいいと思います。Instead of doing a little bit of many different books, I think you should stick with one book and definitely keep working through it.
そうですね。That's right.
いろんなのをやっちゃうとどれもこれも中途半端になっちゃって、何もできなくなっちゃうので、やっぱ1冊絞ってやるのが大事ですね。If you try to do many different ones, they all end up half-finished and you can't master anything, so it's important to narrow it down to one book.
大事です。It's important.
ではこれでインタビューを終わります。Then we'll end the interview here.
ありがとうございました。Thank you very much.
ありがとうございました。Thank you very much.
チェウォンさんインタビューありがとうございました。Thank you, Chaewon, for the interview.
チェウォンさんの話をまとめると、まず皆さんいろんな問題集に手を出さないでください。To summarize Chaewon's story, first of all, everyone, please don't reach out to many different workbooks.
とにかく自分がこれだと信じた1冊1冊を解き切ってみましょう。Just pick the one book you believe in and finish solving it completely.
また選んだ問題集も全部解いて全部理解してから問題を解いていくのではなくて、Also, with the workbook you chose, instead of solving everything and understanding everything before moving on to the questions,
ある程度サッと勉強して、そしたらもうどんどん問題を解いていきましょう。study it roughly to some extent, and then just keep solving more and more problems.
問題に慣れることがとても大事です。Getting used to the questions is very important.
また覚えられない文法や単語に関しては自分で例文を作りながら覚えていきましょう。Also, for grammar and vocabulary you can't remember, learn them while making your own example sentences.
ただ暗記していくのってやっぱりとても大変なので、自分で例文を作って自分なりに理解して覚えていくことがとても大切です。Just memorizing is really very hard, so it's very important to make your own example sentences and understand and remember them in your own way.
また模擬試験を受けるときは間違えた問題をそのままにしてはいけません。Also, when you take a mock exam, you must not leave the questions you got wrong as they are.
間違えた問題こそしっかり着目して、Focus carefully on the questions you got wrong,
そこから何が間違えていたのか、これはどうやったら正解になるのかというところを自分なりにand from there, in your own way, firmly grasp what was wrong and how to get the correct answer,
しっかり把握して理解して次に進んで行きましょう。understand it well, and then move on.
特にチェウォンさんのお話で印象的だったのは苦手ノートを作っているということでした。What was particularly impressive in Chaewon's story was that she made a notebook for her weak points.
ただ単語帳とか本を本を持ち歩いているのではなくて自分の苦手だけをまとめたノートですね。Instead of just carrying around a vocabulary book or a book, it's a notebook summarizing only her own weak points.
特に文法で作っているとおっしゃっていましたが、自分の中での苦手ノートを作ってそれをShe said she made it especially for grammar, but make a notebook of your own weak points and
休憩時間だったり電車の中だったり隙間時間にとにかく勉強をして苦手をつぶしていくことが大事でした。it was important to study it during breaks, on the train, or in any spare time to eliminate your weaknesses.
また試験当日としてはわからない問題は後回しにしていくことが大事でした。Also, on the day of the exam, it was important to skip questions you don't know and do them later.
わからない問題をずっと考えていくと時間も足りなくなってしまうので、わからない問題はもうどんどん後に回してわかるところからやっていきましょう。If you keep thinking about questions you don't know, you'll run out of time, so push the unknown questions back and start with what you do know.
また聴解に関しては聞き取れなかった言葉をいつまでも引きずるのではなくて聞き取れなかった言葉のその次の言葉からしっかりまた聞いていきましょう。Also, for listening, instead of dwelling on words you couldn't catch, make sure to listen again starting from the words after what you missed.
そうすれば自然と答えも分かってくるかと思います。If you do that, the answer will naturally become clear.
また読解に関しては大事なキーワードをピックアップして内容を捉えるということが大事でした。Also, for reading comprehension, it was important to pick up key keywords and grasp the content.
特にその大事なキーワードというのはIn particular, those important keywords
繰り返している言葉であったりカギカッコで書書かれている言葉などが重要なワードが多いので、そういうところをしっかり皆さん見ていきましょう。are often repeated words or words written in quotation marks, so please pay close attention to those.
また JLPTまで残り1ヶ月ぐらいだと思うんですが、Also, I think there's about one month left until the JLPT,
今から新しい言葉とか新しい文法とかって入れてもなかなか頭に入ることが難しいんですね。it's hard to absorb new words or new grammar at this point.
なので今からのこの1ヶ月は自分が勉強してきたものを重点的に振り返りましょう。So for this remaining month, focus on reviewing what you have already studied.
自分が勉強してきたノートや教科書を振り返ってみて、あこれ勉強したなあ、これちょっと抜けてたなとかっていうものを確認していくことが大切です。It's important to look back at the notebooks and textbooks you've studied and check things like, oh I studied this, oh I missed this a bit.
はいということでこの動画が少しでも皆さんの勉強のお役に立ったらとても嬉しいです。So I would be very happy if this video helps your studies even a little.
また JLPT合格された方の中で自分のこんな勉強方法がとても良かった、こんな工夫をしたっていう方がAlso, among those who passed the JLPT, if there's anyone whose study method worked really well, who made such efforts,
いて、ぜひインタビューを受けたいっていう方がいらっしゃいましたら日本語の森にご連絡ください。and would like to be interviewed, please contact Nihongo no Mori.
皆さんからのご連絡お待ちしております。We look forward to hearing from you all.
また皆さんからの JLPT合格したよっていう。Also, messages like 'I passed the JLPT!' from all of you.
だよという合格報告もとても楽しみにお待ちしておりますので、合格された方もぜひ日本語の森にご連絡ください。I'm really looking forward to hearing your reports of passing, so if you passed, please contact Nihongo no Mori.
皆さんご視聴ありがとうございました。Thank you all for watching.
また次の動画でお会いしましょう。See you in the next video.

これが獣ですね。This is 'juu'.
獣というのは動物のことなんですが。'Juu' means animal, but...
