来季らいきより巨人軍きょじんぐん監督かんとくに就任しゅうにんすることになりました松井秀樹です。I am Hideki Matsui, and I will be taking over as manager of the Giants from next season.

ジャイアンツで高校こうこう卒業そつぎょうしてから10年間ねんかんプレーしました。I played for 10 years with the Giants after graduating from high school.

選手せんしゅと共ともに伴走ばんそうし、そして一緒いっしょに成長せいちょうしていきたいと思おもっております。I want to run alongside the players and grow together with them.

難むずかしいですが、しかしもしあるとしたらジャイアンツの紳士しんしの定義ていぎはそれよりも厳きびしいものじゃないといけないと思おもっております。is difficult, but if there is one, I think the Giants' definition of a gentleman must be stricter than that.

それもそれをしっかり選手せんしゅにも浸透しんとうさせ、やっぱりジャイアンツの選手せんしゅはI will thoroughly instill that in the players as well, and indeed Giants players

私わたしは現役げんえき時代じだいの半分はんぶんをアメリカでプレーしました。I spent half of my playing career playing in America.

また引退いんたい後ご12年間ねんかんニューヨークヤンキースでAlso, after retiring, for 12 years with the New York Yankees

お世話せわになり、選手せんしゅ育成いくせいに携たずさわらせていただきました。I was taken care of and was involved in player development.
